The two times national award winner Manoj Bajpayee who is known for his unconventional movie choices and bringing roles alive in the most realistic manner is all set to give the audiences yet another master piece of his fine work with his upcoming film ‘In The Shadows’ (Gali Guliyaan). The talented actor has collaborated with a reputed foreign crew for the first time for this remarkable movie, which is all set to be premiered at the prestigious Busan International Film Festival 2017.
Set in the back drop of old Delhi, In The Shadows (Gali Guliyaan) is directed & written by Los Angeles-based filmmaker and winner of Director’s Guild of America Awards – Dipesh Jain. The story revolves around the protagonist (Manoj Bajpayee) who is trapped within the city walls and in his own mind. The cast includes talented actors like Ranvir Shorey, Neeraj Kabi and Shahana Goswami along with Manoj Bajpayee. The film also marks the debut of child actor Om Singh who lives in foster homes at Salaam Baalak Trust in India and has given a phenomenal performance to watch out for.
According to sources, the team will be seen attending Busan International Film Festival which is held in Busan, South Korea from 12th October to 21st October. A World Premiere screening of the film is scheduled on October 14th where the audiences will get to watch the film for the first time.
