Mom, I Am Kalam and Shor in the City fame Pitobash Tripathy is playing one of the important roles in Samir Soni’s directorial debut My Birthday song, While writing the script of the film, My Birthday Song, Samir already had Pitobash in his mind for the character.
He says, “When I was writing Pitobash’s character he was already in my mind. I had seen him in ‘Million Dollar Arm’ and I really liked his character. He is his own unique character. He is something, there is something unique about his personality, he has the quirkiness to him. He has a kind of face that you don’t forget very easily, you see him and you know something about him. He reminds me of Raghubir Yadav, fantastic actor. He has a four page scene in the film where only he is talking but it grows on you.”
My Birthday Song, a psychological thriller, written & directed by Samir Soni, features Sanjay Suri, Nora Fatehi & Miss India Australia Zenia Starr in lead roles. Produced by Sanjay Suri & SamirSoni, under the banner of KAHWA Entertainment and is slated to release on 19th January, 2018.
