Talking about College Diaries, Gulshan said, “I got a call for the show and the moment I heard the script, I knew I had to do it. I gave the audition and things fell in place. I really loved the character and the story, and I had wanted to do something like this since my last project. Guess someone heard it up there, and my wish was granted and this show came my way. The character I am playing is of a guy who is very powerful and influential in the college and interestingly the name of the character also is Gulshan.”

Going back to old days is not very easy in any individual’s life but actors have that liberty because of their work requirements. Gulshan Nain, who is playing a college boy in ‘College Dairies’, proves that while sharing about his preparations for the role.

When asked if this project has taken him back to his college days, he said, “Honestly, I didn’t have to prepare much for this show as I have led almost similar college life. So just remembering my old days and situations did the trick for me. I can relate to almost each and every scene while shooting, so it’s just not the name that is similar but also a lot of scenes.”

Gulshan has also been seen a part of progressive films like Friends In Law and Lonely Girl. As much as the actor is passionate about his acting.

Gulshan who is currently shooting for the ‘College Dairies’ shares, “The vibe one feels on the set is very good and positive. It actually feels like I have gone back to my college days. I share a good rapport with everyone, not just co-actors, but also the director and writer of the show who also are the producers and the crew. It’s an absolute fun shoot and there is no kind of pressure or stress. And when you are working with such a talented team, be it writer, director or the actors, the entire shoot process becomes fun and a great learning experience that motivates you also to perform better and give the best shot.”

Like many Indians Gulshan Nain is also a cricket fanatic where he has been a part of Box Cricket League for all the three seasons aired on Colors TV and MTV.
